CTFC Blue v Moulton Blue Over 65's

Hi,

Last Sunday saw Season Spring 2024 Matchday 2 of the NWFL's over 50's & 65's League @ Redwell Leisure centre Wellingborough.                                                                                                                  

It was another successful day for the league & the two over 65 teams representing Corby Town FC.

The White team started the day top off their division & finished the day still there 7 points clear of the Blue team, in second, after drawing all their 4 games & moving up from 3rd to 2nd.

Overall in both the divisions, the football standards are very high.

It just goes to show what you can achieve with age & knobbly knees.

        There is though still some work to be done on the issues of running & physical contact.

Matchday 3 is scheduled for 28/04/2024 same venue.
