An insight to walking football

 Hi all

Hope this short post finds you all safe & well.

Personally beginning to feel like a caged animal, a coiled spring.

At least outdoor sports has recently been mentioned in the news, so maybe some light at the end of the tunnel.

The other day I found myself with some spare time, hahaha and looking through the FA's website, when I come across a FREE yes FREE online course "Playmaker". As a pensioner a freebie is to good to miss.

So I enrolled, it was a 4.5hr module, So I "KICKED OFF".

Passing through the slides, taking on the questions, back passing in order to achieve 100% in order to get into the final third. "Half time".

"KICKED OFF".

Got upfield, more tutorials, more questions, & GOAL.

"FINAL WHISTLE" course completed.

I am now a qualified FA Playmaker, which means I can assist in official FA training sessions. It is also the required first step into being accepted onto the FA coaching badge courses.

So there it is, just thought I would share this, quite pleased actually, Walking Football really does make you  "RETHINK RETIREMENT".
Not sure though where to go from here, all other courses are paused at the moment, they are being revamped & hopefully available in the spring, so I've got some time to think about what to do?
All the best for now.
Staff well & safe.
Above all.
"RETHINK RETIREMENT"
